2021年3月19日（金）第124回さいたま定期演奏会を行いました。
暖かい陽気と芽吹く草木に、春の便りを感じる３月19日。
新しい季節に、ドヴォルザークの描いた「新しい世界」が神々しく花開きました。

In the new season, the "new world" drawn by Dvorak has blossomed divinely.

颯爽と現れたチェリスト・宮田大氏。ドヴォルザークのチェロ協奏曲を、堂々と、そして端正に描き上げました。作曲家・ドヴォルザークの迷い、故郷への想い、恋心、様々な心のひだを、宮田大氏のチェロが語るように奏で、お客様の心を揺さぶった。

Mr. Dai Miyata, who is today’s cellist ,appeared stately on the stage . He drew up Dvorak's cello concerto dignifiedly and neatly. Mr.Dai Miyata played Dvorak's hesitation, feelings for his hometown, love, and various emotions as like telling, and the hearts of the audiences were shaken.

   
後半はドヴォルザーク：交響曲第９番「新世界より」

久しぶりの大編成オーケストラは、やはり壮観。
ソニックシティでは昨年、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大して以降、演奏会の中止を経て、昨年の秋以降は休憩なし・小編成での演奏にてコンサートを再開してまいりました。ですが今公演は休憩あり、フル編成でコンサートをお届けすることができました。

Next is Dvorak's Symphony No.9 “From the New World”
The large orchestra after a long absence is still spectacular.Since the spread of COVID-19 last year, Sonic City has canceled three concerts, and held concerts again with no break and the chamber size orchestra from last Autumn. However, tonight we were able to deliver the concert with full size orchestra and a break .


小林研一郎氏の指揮も力強く、はつらつとしていました。
Mr.Ken-ichiro Kobayashi's performance was so powerful and vigorously.

 

～オーケストラと盆栽の出会い～
2000年より継続しております「さいたま定期演奏会」を、さらに地域性豊かなものに育てたいとの想いから、「盆栽」との共演に挑戦しております。

【盆栽清香園より第124回定期演奏会に寄せて】

この度は、第124回さいたま定期演奏会の開催、誠におめでとうございます。
春本番、木々の芽吹きが生命の躍動感を伝える頃となりました。眠りの冬の後に、木々が一気に蓄えた力を発揮する様子は、どこか音楽的な表現にも通じるものでしょう。
今回は、生命力の象徴である白玉椿（しらたまつばき）の盆栽を展示させていただきます。推定樹齢100年の白玉椿の盆栽です。
白玉椿は丸く咲き始める椿の一種で、茶席の花として親しまれてきました。盆栽も音楽同様、人の営みと共に手から手に渡されて、磨かれる緑の芸術です。
作曲家ドヴォルザークが思春期を迎える頃、私共清香園は幕末江戸の地にて創業しました。
国は違えど、激動の時代を迎える人々に音楽や緑の癒しが求められたことでしょう。

～The Encounter between Orchestra and Bonsai～

We have been holding “Saitama Subscription Concert” since 2000. Now,we have been challenging to co-operation with “Bonsai” with the desire to grow this series into more characteristic.

【From Seikouen】
Congratulations on holding the 124th Saitama Subscription Concert.
In spring, it is time for the buds of trees to convey the dynamism of life. After the hibernation, the trees exert their accumulated power at once.
The situation may be similar to musical expression. This time, we exhibit the bonsai of Shiratama camellia, which is a symbol of the vitality.
It is estimated to be 100 years old. Shiratama camellia is a type of camellia that begins to bloom in a round shape, and has been popular as a flower for the tea ceremony. Like music, bonsai is a green art that is handed over and polished along with human activities. When Dvorak had reached puberty, Seikouen was founded at Edo in the end of the Edo period. In different countries, in a turbulent era, people would have been asked for music and green healing.

この度、小林研一郎氏が、日本芸術院恩賜賞・日本芸術院賞を受賞されました。
リハーサル前、日本フィルの楽員さんと共にお祝いのセレモニーを行いました。

Maestro Ken-ichiro Kobayashi was awarded the Imperial Prize and the Japan Art Academy Prize.
Before the rehearsal, we held a celebration ceremony with the musicians of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
